It seems like forever since high school. I have been in Corpus Christi for the last 18 years as a project manager for a large electrical contractor. I have three beautiful daughters and two grandchildren. We live ten minutes from the beach so we surf and fish constantly. I get lost every time I return to Lubbock, it is so different from high school days.I am looking forward to seeing old friends again.

I'm so impressed with this website. You have done a beautiful job! I have missed all of the reunions, but I'm so glad that many of you are able to take the time to connect. I currentlly live in Nacogdoches with my husband of 26 years. Stephen and I were college sweethearts. We lived in Nashville, Tn. for 13 years and moved back to his hometown 10 years ago. We are in Aggie country, and both of my children are at A&M. Maybe that is why I don't return to Lubbock??? There are so many people I don't see here, and I wonder where they are. I spent most of my school years at Lubbock Christian, but the last two at CHS. I remember many of you quiet fondly and wish you all well. Peace to you and yours!

I can't believe 30 years have gone by since high school graduation!  I hope the next 30 years, God willing, will go by a little slower!  I worked as a secretary until graduating from Texas Woman's University School of Nursing in Denton in 1988.  Soon after graduation, I married John, and had 3 great kids.  This fall, Paige will be an entering freshman with a major in nursing at TWU; Johnny will be a junior and Tammy Lou will be a freshman, both in high school.  We stay busy with kids and work.  Time flies when you're having fun out on the farm!

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in August.  I just hope that I'm not the only grey-headed person there and that at least one or two people remember me!

I married Lynn Alexander, State Farm Agent and I have two beautiful children, a daughter Tymber age 17 attending CHS (of course), son Taylor age 10, grown step-son Eric, T.I. Engineer lives in Wylie and a grown step-daughter Jennifer, her husband Gary live in Lubbock and two AWESOME grandkids, grandson Hunter age 10 (grandson is three weeks older than my son: Father of the Bride, Part II - mother & daughter prego's at the same time) and precious granddaughter, Anabelle age 2 (MiMi sunshine), three dogs, three cats and three inside turtle doves (the Alexander's Zoo).  My father, Weldon Sikes is living just a few block from my home and my Mom went home to the Lord three years ago.  One brother, Russell and his wife Brenda (Maddin) live in Lubbock and the other brother Weldon, Jr lives in Austin.  I have eight neices & nephews and am very proud of all of them.  Interesting fact that most people dont' know about me is that my daughter & I did the bonding thing by taking Tae Kwon Do and accompanished our third degree red belt.  I am not sure we will go for our black belt, since this "old" lady has to fight three guys to acheive that black belt thing and maybe I am just too old for that - we will see!

After college, moved to Austin and became a drug pusher (aka pharm rep) with Milex Southern, then moved back to Lubbock to get married.

In 1992, the man upstairs had plans that would rock my world.  I became the vessel that God used to start Lubbock Victim Assistance Services, Inc. and the executive director for the last 15 years.  L.V.A.S. is  a program for survivors of violent crime and their families.  L.V.A.S. provides information, referrals & criminal justice system support, as well as personal support, directional support, allowing the victim to have a voice in their case.  Ensuring that all victims are treated with fairness, dignity & compassion.  I really enjoy what I do & if I can make just a little part of a victim life easier, then I find my job totally rewarding.

I missed the 10 & 20 year reunions, but am SO glad I was apart of the 30 year.  I really enjoyed reconnecting with good friends and starting lasting friendships with others.  If you didn't make the reunion - make plans to go to the 35 years - for this shy, quiet high school girl - it was a GREAT experience.  Thanks again to Ron, Alice, Lisa, Mikell and Teri - these guys are outstanding leaders in our community!  I am proud to have been apart (small part) of the committee and look forward to being on the nostalgia committee.  Thanks again for the great reunion!

I married Kenneth Berry (also from Lubbock) in 1982,  I attended West Texas State (A & M) University in Canyon and graduated in 1986 with a BS in Nursing.  Kenneth and I have 3 wonderful children:  Spencer, 19, a college sophomore; Dalton, 17, a high school senior; and Kendra, 14, a high school freshman.   They are all musically talented, taking after their Dad.  We have lived in Amarillo all our married life, but we still have parents and other family in Lubbock, so it is still home to us.

Paul and I married February 26, 1982, so we just celebrated our 25th anniversary.  Our son, Ryan, was born February 20, 1985 and has been a great blessing to us.  We were basketball parents during his years at Frenship.  19 years ago, I started a childcare in our home in order to be home with Ryan.  Now he's on his own here in Lubbock and I still haven't learned my lesson!

We are very involved with church, family and friends, and life hasn't slowed down like we thought it would when Ryan finished high school.  My "other" children keep our lives interesting and busy with their special events!
